I’ve adopted a cat before I started volunteering here at the humane society but my adopting process went absolutely flawless. I’m so in love with my gabby, answered all my questions and were so helpful.
Volunteering here is probably the best time I’ve ever had, I’ve learned so much and the facility is so clean. Everything is so organized.
With the passing of our a 16 year old cat we decided to adopt a new kitty. Our other cat had grown up with other cats and was acting depressed. After a bit of looking we found one that we felt would make a nice addition to the family. The staff was outstanding, friendly and helpful. Been a bit now and Tomo is doing great. He is all we could have wished for and gets along great with his big brother.
We have now adopted two kittens from the Humane Society and both have been in exceptional health and some of the sweetest kitties I've ever met. We are so thankful for the work they do in our community!
This is a beautiful building, with an amazing set of staff. The animals and their cages are very clean. From the few staff members I met, I can tell that they truly care about each and every one of the animals that walk through their door.
I came in to search for my lost cat recently, and while I didn’t find him, I met a very kind staff member who took me on a tour of the building to search for my baby. She was very compassionate and genuinely sympathized with me when we didn’t find my cat anywhere in the building. She gave me great advice on how to help him find his way home, and although I still haven’t found him, I am very grateful for this entire interaction. I will definitely be coming back to this shelter if I ever decide I’d like to adopt another pet.
If you’re looking for a furry friend and you’re based in Hamilton County, I’d highly consider adopting from here! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and there’s a pet for everyone here. I’ve had to bring a dog that got loose here, and even though it was right before they closed for the day, they still made sure that the furry friend I had with me was safe. They were completely understanding with me.
We love Paxton & Preston!! ♥️♥️😊 they living great! Lots of play time, and they are extremely happy! They get cuddles and snacks all the time !! ❤️❤️ and watch 1hr of tv everyday of live birds on YouTube 😂 …
This is a fantastic no kill animal shelter. Upon visiting I noticed how happy and comfortable the animals in here appear to be. I do not always see this at every shelter. It’s a very clean facility and I’m glad to see that the animals housed here are treated with dignity and respect while they wait on a loving person to chose them.
Went in to get a bonded pair of older cats that we seen online and they weren't bonded anymore and one had found another home. So the staff showed us another pair and we took them.
They were a little short handed on Sunday when we were there and took over an hour to get the adoption done, other than that we had a great time with the people there.
All the cages the animals were in were very clean and didn't have that animal smell to the building, very clean place and would recommend this facility for anyone who is looking for a animal.
